Automotive: Automotive window-tinting curriculum designed to fast track a trainee with a basic understanding of window tinting and ensure the correct methods are applied for both the application and technical aspects of window film. Typically, a certificate course would include:
Understanding window tinting terminologies, Door trim removal & Replacement, Film removal from side windows and rear screens,Template making (Soft templates & Hard templates) Film Cutting, Cleaning, flushing and squeegee techniques,Custom fitting of top edge, Cutting film on glass, Heat forming techniques (dry method & wet method),Technical aspects of window tinting film, Workshop management & Time management, Problem solving, Quality control, Vehicle presentation and Customer relations.
Flat Glass: There are generally two parts, firstly for sales people and secondly for applicators/installers.
Sales people: Training can be provided around quoting, measuring and selling window film products, combining all the all the technical aspects of applying film to glass. Typically a course would include:
Industry Terminologies, Film Types, Technical Aspects (Technical Handbook), Film to glass guide, Measuring windows, Quoting Formulas, Cutting Plans, Customer Service, Quality Control and Proactive business ideas.
Applicators/Installers: This give a full understanding of the correct cleaning & application procedures and technical aspects. Typically a course will include:
Industry Terminologies, Technical Aspects, Measuring Windows, Cutting Plans, Film Cutting, Drop flick method (Solar Only), Cleaning, flushing and Squeegeeing techniques, Film application (Solar Only), Customer Service and Quality Control
